Young Quebec Simmental Breeders
Provincial Calf Rally
This year, the 34th Annual Quebec 4-H Provincial Rally was held at the Ormstown Fairgrounds between June 2nd and 5th. Hosted by the 4-H Clubs of the Chateauguay Valley, the event welcomed 4-H members from across Quebec and Eastern Ontario. 117 participants and countless parents, leaders, volunteers and spectators arrived for the activities including Life Skills, Public Speaking, Fitting and Judging Competitions. Show Day was Saturday, July 4th and included poultry, rabbits, sheep, goats, horses, beef and dairy classes.
The Champion Simmental was won by Kalie Dufault from Shawville 4-H, showing Destiny Titanic Dixi who also went on to win Champion Interbreed Beef. The Quebec Simmental Association sponsored the plaque for the Reserve Champion Simmental. It was won by Kyle Dufault, also from Shawville 4-H, showing IRCC Undiscovered.
